Alfa Laval enhances spiral heat exchanger production in the United States

Newly expanded Welded Competence Center opens in Broken Arrow, Okla.

An all-new facility features enhanced and expanded spiral heat exchanger production adjacent to the existing air-cooled heat exchanger production space. Together, this Welded Competence Center offers customers greater access to high-efficiency welded heat exchanger expertise.

The United States is a large market for welded heat exchangers by a significant margin and Alfa Laval is committed to maintaining its role as the clear leader,”

says Christian Thomsen, president, Welded Heat Exchanger Business Unit, Alfa Laval Energy Division. “Expanding our spiral heat exchanger capabilities in Broken Arrow allows us to continue to deliver core competencies and a critical mass of production closer to our customers. It means we’re providing a better customer experience now and in the future.”

The expansion also brings Alfa Laval closer to the largest concentration of spiral heat exchanger customers in the U.S., who will benefit from increased capacity and improved lead times.
