Alfa Laval wins SEK 60 million order in India
Alfa Laval – a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling – has won an order to supply equipment to a fermentation plant in India. The order has a value of approximately SEK 60 million and it was booked in the Food Systems unit of the Food & Water Division. Deliveries are scheduled to start in 2017 and be completed in 2018.
The order comprises various equipment such as heat exchangers, as well as tank cleaning and fluid handling products, that be used in the production of insulin.
“I am very pleased to announce this large biotech order,” says Nish Patel, President of the Food & Water Division. “It proves that our products are hygienic, reliable and efficient and that they meet the customers’ high demands in this industry.”
