Ingredient manufacturing, food processing and bio-products represent $25B a year opportunity for Canada

In a recent announcement, Protein Industries Canada has released their updated roadmap for Canada’s ingredient manufacturing, food processing, and bio-products sector, called The Road to $25 Billion.

“In a rapidly changing global environment characterized by the new realities of climate change, geopolitical tensions, increased competition, and a rapidly growing global population, maintaining the status quo is no longer an option,” said Bill Greuel, CEO of Protein Industries Canada. 

 

Canada’s ingredient manufacturing sector can help strengthen the food supply chain and economic resilience in the face of this evolving landscape.
