Canadian steel industry supports federal clean energy moves

Canada’s recent federal budget has introduced new incentives for steel producers to invest in clean energy and production practices.

“The sector is pleased to see this budget significantly expand the climate toolkit to support heavy industry’s competitiveness as Canada moves toward a net-zero economy,” said Catherine Cobden, CEO of the Canadian Steel Producers Association.
