Canada’s plan for the emissions cap on oil and gas to be revealed this fall

The Canadian government has announced its intentions to introduce its plan to limit emissions from the oil and gas industry this fall.

The policy will serve as a litmus test for Canada's capability to achieve its climate objectives without significantly impairing the important economic sector.

 

The preliminary regulations are scheduled for publication as early as October and will be made public before the United Nations climate conference in Dubai on November 30th.
