Canada must catch up in becoming a big renewable energy and technology player. According to a new international outlook, fossil fuel demand is expected to peak in just seven years. By then, renewables are predicted to make up almost half of the electric supply. 

 

Solar power alone is expected to produce more energy than the entire US electricity system. We are inching towards a green future, but more must be done.
