“…HAMILTON, ONT. – SusGlobal Energy recently announced it has acquired an industrial facility on Nash Road North on Hamilton’s East Bayfront for construction of its new organic fertilizer production facility.

The new facility will have the capacity to produce approximately $2 million worth of organic fertilizer daily, processing 65,000 metric tonnes of organic waste. SusGlobal converts green bin waste into pathogen-free liquid organic fertilizer…

…Currently, SusGlobal operates a 120,000-tonne-per-annum intake and compost facility in Belleville, Ont. The construction of the new Hamilton facility is expected to be completed by 2022.
