“…The shooting was done on specialized cargo ships from Desgagnés and allows us to grasp the intimate link that unites the work of the crews and the survival of northern communities, made possible by the supply by ship.

Each of the episodes reveals the many challenges of northern navigation marked by often extreme weather conditions, waters regularly infested with ice and an almost total lack of marine infrastructures to accommodate vessels at their destination. Every voyage, from planning to delivering often essential goods, becomes a complex mission.

This collaboration is an exceptional opportunity for Desgagnés to demystify this service, which is both unfamiliar and unavoidable, and thus pay tribute to the northern communities and to the work of the Desgagnés team members who have served them for more than 50 years..."
